CPC Corporation Taiwan (CPC) is planning to proceed with the third phase of Taichung LNG import terminal at the Port of Taichung in Taiwan.

Adnoc and AD Power developed Lightning project, a subsea high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission grid to supply power from shore to the various offshore facilities in Abu Dhabi in the UAE.

Ineos is planning Project ONE, an expansion project over different existing sites in Europe for the production of ethylene and propylene.

After extending the refinery, the Saudi Aramco South Korean subsidiary S-Oil Corporation (S-Oil) is considering to build the phase II of its second petrochemical complex on its existing site of Ulsan in Shaheen Province, South Korea.

The national oil companies (NOCs), Eni from Italy and Sonangol from Angola, together with the local joint venture Sonangol – Sinopec called SSI Fifteen limited (SSI Fifteen) intend to develop their recent discovery Agogo in the Block 15/06 offshore Angola on fast-track as a stand alone project as a floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel.

The international oil company (IOC), Chevron Phillips, and the national oil company (NOC), Qatar Energy (QE), signed a heads of agreement (HoA) to build and operate an estimated $8 billion-worth petrochemicals project on the US Gulf of Mexico coast, under the name Golden Triangle Polymers.

The German municipally-owned utility companies, Hamburger Energiewerke and Stromnetz Hamburg, are considering developing a combined heat and power (CHP) generation plant at the Hafen Energy Park park, in Dradenau, south of Hamburg, Germany.

In August 2016, Eni and ExxonMobil signed an agreement by which Eni will sell 25% stake into the onshore LNG project and transfer the operator role to the US major ExxonMobil. Eni kept the operator role for the development of its offshore fields.
