A balance of useful features including temperature resistance, impact resistance and optical properties position polycarbonates.
The polycarbonates are between commodity plastics and engineering plastics, but the demand growth for polycarbonate is the fastest among the top five engineering plastics because of its high purity and transparency properties.

The
polycarbonates are widely used in automotive parts, home appliances, medical products, electronics, information technology and building materials.
